The venue for the fifth edition of Pettah Interchange is a presently abandoned colonial building that has stood for over 100 years in the heart of Colombo. The Transworks House, which originally housed the Ceylon Public Works Department and later served as Fort Police headquarters, is one of the last remaining buildings of its kind in the area left in a neglected state, though it will soon be renovated to serve as the entrance and lobby to the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
