“Funktion Eka” channels a hazy, after-hours buzz with quick one-two stabs of bass and snares. The human flurry of the mix, casually knocking about, adding depth and space. The title track is less linear, crawling forward like a mutant dressed in moody attire. The remix by Asvajit washes over the sinister with breathy, suede pads, somehow coalescing the dread into cosmic bliss. Mastered by Rob Small.
