For his first release on Jambutek, @Ramacod serves up Flute Soup, a reflective 5-track EP with a shiny micro-house sheen. The title track is a glitch-laden exploration of twisted rhythms with touches of carnival jazz-funk, its sliced vocal cuts reminiscent of Luomo. “Click03” is at once, both gliding and grumbling, its pinged-out beat and stuttering minor chords adding a certain minimal efficiency to the track. “Albinus Distress” and 'Sorry This Feeling is Already Taken' add nuance to an already versatile sound, with @Nigel-Perera's remix of the former grounding the release through a deeper and slightly more accessible interpretation of the original.
